Date :: 25th January 2012, Wednesday Venue :: Basket Ball Court The Annual Dinner of the Alumni was celebrated on Wednesday 25th January, 2012.It was attended by Members and Non Members of the Alumni too.All present re-kindled their Eye Camp
Date :: 15th January 2012, Sunday Venue :: DBPC Alumni Room The Annual Eye Camp which is held every year will be held on 15th January, 2012. This programme is organised by us in association with the Don Bosco Night School Alumni. Free Eye checkup will be provided to the under priveleged members of our society and corrective spectacles and operations if required will also provided at a later date. Date :: 18th December 2011, Sunday Venue :: DBPC Alumni Room The Annual General Meeting for the Years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 was held on 18th December 2011. All members who are interested in getting a copy of accounts should contact the persons below. Date :: 20th November 2011, Sunday Venue :: School Grounds The Much awaited Event in the Calendar of Events of our Alumni the Bijoya Diwali Milan on Sunday, 20th November 2011 this year was a runaway hit. The Fireworks were electrifying and the food was stupendous.All the members who had come there with their families thoroughly enjoyed the ambience.There was a Magic show, Games for children and Adults alike. The Lucky Draw Raffle in aid if the Adult Literacy Project proved to be a great hit too with the lucky winners walking away with fabulous prizes like LCD Tv, Digital Camera, Washing Machine and what not. Date :: 17th July 2011, Sunday Venue :: Don Bosco Park Circus The Relic of Don Bosco visited us on 17th July, Sunday. We all accompanied the Relic to Don Bosco Park Circus from the Christ The King Church.The Turnout all through the day was overwhelming to say the least. In fact at times the line for public viewing of the Casket extended till the next block. The Alumni would like to thank all its members who made this visit of Don Bosco such a huge success.Without the support of all of you, the smooth running of the entire day's proceedings would not have been possible. BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Date :: 3rd July 2011, Sunday Venue :: Assembly Hall in School We along with Don Bosco Alumni (Night Scool Park Circus Unit -INC) had organised, like every year, a BLOOD DONATION CAMP on Sunday, 3rd, July 2011.This camp was organised in association with Lions Club Alipore. Date :: 26th January 2011, Wednesday Venue :: DBPC Alumni Room Our Unit in association with the Alumni of Don Bosco Park Circus Night School has organised an Osteoporosis Camp with the help of our member Dr. Anirban Chatterjee. The Event was a resounding success last time as we tested about 135 people. Free medicine supplements were also distributed on the occassion. We are expecting a bigger response this time. Eye Camp
Date :: 16th January 2011, Sunday Venue :: Don Bosco Park Circus Like every year, The Alumni had organised an Eye Camp in association with The Alumni of Don Bosco Night School.This is being done with help from The Lions Club Alipore Branch. Date :: 4th July 2010, Sunday Venue :: Assembly Hall, DBPC. Our Alumni had organised the Annual Blood Donation Camp this year. All Donors will got a Special Momento from the Alumni for showing their Solidarity, in our drive to collect Blood. Date :: 19th June 2010, Saturday Venue :: M.V.Riviera-Luxury Barge Adult Literacy Project Charity Dinner Our Alumni organised, in its maiden venture, a Charity Dinner in aid of the Adult Literacy Project.This was done in association with the U.B.Group.(Courtesy: Our Alumni Member Mr. Alokesh Banerjee) We had arranged for sumptious food, Live Music and Cocktails aboard the M.V.Riviera, a Luxury Barge. The turnout was much more than expected and the Barge was filled to capacity.All present had a Rollicking time and the Event went on to become a memorable success. Date :: 9th May 2010, Sunday Venue :: DBPC Alumni Room Our Unit celebrated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Guru Rabindranath Tagore with a small function where our Rector and Unit Delgate Rev. Fr. Siby spoke on the importance of Nation Building in todays context. The Initiative for this impromptu function was taken by our member Mr. Tapan Das and our unit thanks him for the same. Animation Day
