Muskaan-Dental Awareness Camp
Date :: 12th May 2013, Sunday Venue :: Don Bosco Park Circus "Muskaan" The first Dental Awareness Camp had been organised by the Alumni on Sun, 12th May 2013. Over 30 underpriveleged people were screened. As this was our first camp, we had focused on the organisational capabilities of having a Dental Camp rather than the number of people who could be screened. As such, efforts were made to screen a few and then learn from the experience to do it in a better and bigger way the next time. Animation Day
Date :: 5th May 2013, Sunday Venue :: Don Bosco Mirpara The Provincial Unit of the Alumni had organised an Animation Day on Sun, 5th May 2013 at Don Bosco Mirpara. It was attended by over 14 members of our Alumni. The Provincial Fr. Thomas was kind enough to give us his valuable time and give us his views on how we could conduct ourselves as better human beings and more contributing members of the Alumni. Visitation by Fr. Date :: 8th April 2013, Monday Venue :: Don Bosco Park Circus Both The Committees of Park Circus (Day School and Night School) had the privelege to meet up with Fr. Provincial on his visit to our Unit. The Alumni activities and future projects were discussed. Fr. Provincial was kind enough to share his views on a whole lot aspects of mutual interest and the attending members of both the Committees got an insight on the concerns and goals of the Salesians in todays changing times. Date :: 17th March 2013, Sunday Venue :: Don Bosco Park Circus We had organised an Osteoporosis Camp for the Underprivleged people of the area.This camp was conducted under the guidance and supervision of our Committee Member Dr. Anirban Chatterjee. Date :: 3rd March 2013, Sunday Venue :: Don Bosco Bhattanagar Our unit had undertaken to provide lunch with the patronage of our esteemed members Rajat Baid and Vivek Patodia, to the under priveleged children of Ashalayam a programme of the Salesians for the street and destitute children. This was held in the campus of Don Bosco Ashalayam, Bhattanagar, Howrah. It was a very memorable event for all of us members who were there. This event was held after the General Body Meeting of March at DBPC. Intra Unit Cricket Match
Date :: 10th February 2013, Sunday Venue :: DBPC Grounds An Intra Unit Cricket Match was held amongst ourselves (the members of the DBPC Alumni only) with a tennis ball. This was followed by light snacks. Quite a few members attended this and enjoyed themselves.

Date :: 13th January 2013, Sunday Venue :: Don Bosco Park Circus Don Bosco Alumni Park Circus Unit (INC) and The Don Bosco Night School Alumni Unit had organised "DRISHTI" the Annual Eye Camp for the underprivileged people of the area. In all 331 people were screened and 75 people were recommended for free cataract operations. 125 people are to be given spectacles free on 27th Jan 2013. Nostalgia 2013

Date :: 30th December 2012, Sunday Venue :: Don Bosco Park Circus In keeping with our endeavour to be able to provide Lunch ,monthly, to the Ashalayam Children the Alumni had organised Lunch for the Ashalayam children this time on Sunday 30th Dec, 2012.Over 100 boys from Don Bosco Ashalayam,which is a project for street and destitute children, were provided with Lunch. Durga Puja & Eid is over, the weather remained favourable, the early breeze of winter is upon usand festivities are not over with Diwali round the corner. The Alumni organises an Annual event in the form of Bijoya Diwali Milan to celebrate the Festive season in its own unique way. This year the Alumni has taken upon itself to extend this Festive cheer to our extended family, by making this event open to all students and their families. Bijoya Diwali Milan this year is being held on Saturday, 17th November, 2012 at our school premises. We assure you, this time the programme will be even more enjoyable with a special ethereal display of Fireworks, Music, Activities for Children and Munch on the sumptuous food and you could be the winner of “Raffle Gifts” like an LCD T.V., Mobile, Induction Stove,Camera, Microwave Oven and many more attractive gifts. Date :: 16th August 2012, Thursday Venue :: Don Bosco Park Circus 16th August is Don Bosco's Birthday and we celebrate the event by calling it "Bosco Jayanti". This year to celebrate Bosco Jayanti we had organised the distribution of cakes to the entire school consisting of Day school, Night School,Technical Section, ALP Girls, Teaching and Non Teaching Staff of all the departments. In the evening all the Members of the Alumni were invited to attend a Get Together where Bosco Jayanti was celebrated with the Salesians of the House. Date :: 5th August 2012, Sunday Venue :: Don Bosco Park Circus We had sponsored a Lunch for around 120 children of Don Bosco Ashalayam on 5th Aug, 2012 at 12.30 pm in the school campus. This is the 2nd attempt of the Alumni to sponsor Lunch to Don Bosco Ashalayam children and the tentative start of a series of Sponsored Lunches for the Ashalayam children. Date :: 8th July 2012, Sunday Venue :: Assembly Hall, DBPC. We had organised the Annual Blood Donation Camp on 8th July,2012 from 9.00 am onwards.This camp was held in association with the Don Bosco Park Circus Night School Alumni.The camp was conducted by The Lions Club Of Calcutta, Alipore Branch. The Camp was attended by quite a few number of Alumni members.We screened over 65 donors but blood donations were taken from 56 Donors. The Alumni would like to thank all the Donors for their contribution because it is their selfless effort which has made this Blood Donation Camp successful. Visit to Don Bosco Ashalayam
Date :: 1st July 2012, Sunday Venue :: Belilious Rd, Howrah Our unit had sponsored the Lunch of 150 children of Don Bosco Ashalayam, Belilious Rd, Howrah. Around 25 of us visited Don Bosco Ashalayam, Howrah after the General Body Meeting and spent some time with the less fortunate children there. Animation Day
Date :: 1st May 2012, Tuesday Venue :: Don Bosco Park Circus The Provincial Body of the Don Bosco Alumni had organised an Animation Day at Don Bosco School Park Circus on Tue,1st May 2012 from 9.00 am in the morning.This event was being hosted by us (Don Bosco Alumni-Park Circus Unit) and all Members were requested to attend and make it successful. Registration Charges for the event were Rs 150. This event was successfully attended by nearly 100 participants from all over the Province. "COLOURS"
Date :: 18th March 2012, Sunday Venue :: Assembly Hall Our Alumni had for the first time organised "Colours" A Holi Meet where all Alumni Members were welcome to attend with their Families.There was no Cover Charge for this event."Colours" was attended by over 125 people and all had a Gala time.Live Music,Dry Colour powder (Gulal) and sumptious snacks were the hallmark of this event. This programme is organised by us in association with the Don Bosco Night School Alumni. Free Eye checkup will be provided to the under priveleged members of our society and corrective spectacles and operations if required will also provided at a later date. Date :: 20th November 2011, Sunday Venue :: School Grounds The Much awaited Event in the Calendar of Events of our Alumni the Bijoya Diwali Milan on Sunday, 20th November 2011 this year was a runaway hit. The Fireworks were electrifying and the food was stupendous.All the members who had come there with their families thoroughly enjoyed the ambience.There was a Magic show, Games for children and Adults alike. The Lucky Draw Raffle in aid if the Adult Literacy Project proved to be a great hit too with the lucky winners walking away with fabulous prizes like LCD Tv, Digital Camera, Washing Machine and what not. We all accompanied the Relic to Don Bosco Park Circus from the Christ The King Church.The Turnout all through the day was overwhelming to say the least. In fact at times the line for public viewing of the Casket extended till the next block. The Alumni would like to thank all its members who made this visit of Don Bosco such a huge success.Without the support of all of you, the smooth running of the entire day's proceedings would not have been possible. Date :: 26th January 2011, Wednesday Venue :: DBPC Alumni Room Our Unit in association with the Alumni of Don Bosco Park Circus Night School has organised an Osteoporosis Camp with the help of our member Dr. Anirban Chatterjee. Date :: 19th June 2010, Saturday Venue :: M.V.Riviera-Luxury Barge Adult Literacy Project Charity Dinner Our Alumni organised, in its maiden venture, a Charity Dinner in aid of the Adult Literacy Project.This was done in association with the U.B.Group.(Courtesy: Our Alumni Member Mr. Alokesh Banerjee) We had arranged for sumptious food, Live Music and Cocktails aboard the M.V.Riviera, a Luxury Barge. The turnout was much more than expected and the Barge was filled to capacity.All present had a Rollicking time and the Event went on to become a memorable success. Date :: 9th May 2010, Sunday Venue :: DBPC Alumni Room Our Unit celebrated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Guru Rabindranath Tagore with a small function where our Rector and Unit Delgate Rev. Fr. Siby spoke on the importance of Nation Building in todays context. The Initiative for this impromptu function was taken by our member Mr. Tapan Das and our unit thanks him for the same. Animation Day
